WFI Shorts Tour

BACK ON THE ROAD AGAIN! Don’t miss the 3rd Annual Women’s Film Institute Shorts Tour: Films directed by Women that Entertain, Inspire and Motivate.

From November 17 through August 2012, the 3rd Annual Women’s Film Institute Shorts Tour is hitting the road again, screening selected short films at galleries, art house theaters, universities, and media arts centers throughout the world.

Out of 500 inspiring entries, 6 films were selected and set to premiere. The diverse selection of shorts at the tour celebrates the exceptional contributions of women in the world of cinema, and represents a convergence of films from around the globe, including the US, Germany, South Africa and India.

The tour includes a cross section of socially conscious films that are a catalyst for connecting communities and fostering discussion through the power of independent filmmaking. The films serve as a quilt of stories meant to invoke and inspire audience-goers long after they leave the screening.
